Background. The process of atherosclerosis is chronic. We can reduce cardiovascular morbidity not only by early detection of people, who are at high risk of suffering, by effective use of prevention program funding, but also by providing effective treatment in a timely manner.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the biochemical markers of atherosclerosis and the effectiveness of cardiovascular diseases prevention program in Vilnius City.
